Evidence governance
Evidence Policy
All public claims must be either verified with source records or labeled pending validation. This policy prevents fabricated metrics and keeps content aligned to reproducible evidence.
Publication tiers
- Verified: claim has source records, review date, and accountable owner.
- Pending validation: claim may describe intent or direction but cannot include quantified outcomes.
- Prohibited: fabricated percentages, synthetic performance deltas, or anonymous "customer average" claims without methodology.
Required claim fields
Every quantified claim should carry: source type, coverage window, denominator definition, known exclusions, reviewer, and last validation date. If any field is unavailable, publish as pending validation.
Correction policy
If evidence changes, affected claims should be updated with a new `dateModified`, revision note, and corrected value. Removed claims should be replaced with a plain-language explanation.
